History of SGC
Understanding the connection with KHCThe church started in response to a leading by God
* Pastor Dunamis was sent forth from CCIC on 27th December 2015
* Our first service was held on 3rd January 2016 (first Sunday of the year)
* Our mid-week service started on the 6th January 2016
* The Church was Inaugurated on the 1st of April 2017

How we are Organized
SGC has a number of ministry expressions which are basically organized along 2 key areas:
The 5 purposes: Membership, Maturity, Ministry, Mission and Worship
Family system
1. Worship Team – Rhythms of Grace (Choir), SGC Intercessors (Prayer), Junior Church
2. Outreach Team – Expressions of Grace (Drama), King’s Delight (Dance), Team SGC (Evangelism), Media, Social Media, Sound and Technical
3. Service Team – Ushers, Meeters and Greeters, Sanctuary Keepers, Welfare, Treasury
4. Care Team – Protocol, Follow up, Counselling

Requirement for membership
- Personal profession of Christ as Lord and Saviour
- Baptism by immersion in water
- Completion of the membership class
- Signing of membership pledge
What Next?
- Attend membership induction
- Attend water baptism, if you have indicated
- Join a service unit
- Complete development school
- Be committed to moving from “crowd and congregation” to “committed and core.”
